Yvonne Lopez

Deputy Speaker Yvonne Lopez (D-19) is serving her 4th term in the New Jersey Legislature where she sits as Chairwoman of the Assembly Housing Committee, Vice-Chair of the Community Development and Women's Affairs Committee and the Transportation and Independent Authorities Committee. A former banker, corporate grant maker and non-profit executive, Assemblywoman Lopez has dedicated her career to supporting communities and investing/leading programs to make people's lives better.

As a legislator, Assemblywoman Lopez has marked her terms in office as a lawmaker not afraid of taking on a challenge and has focused on criminal justice reform, consumer protection, housing affordability and childcare reform.
