Annette M. Quijano
Assemblywoman
Assemblywoman Annette M. Quijano has been representing New Jersey's 20th Legislative District in the General Assembly since September 25, 2008. She has served as the Majority Conference Leader since 2020 and previously held the position of Deputy Majority Leader from 2012 to 2019.
Assemblywoman Quijano formerly chaired the Judiciary Committee as well as Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness Committee, and sat on the Housing Committee, and the Labor Committee. Assemblywoman Quijano holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Rutgers University and a Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School. In addition to her legislative duties, she serves as a Municipal Prosecutor, bringing her legal expertise to her role in public service.
Throughout her tenure, Assemblywoman Quijano has been a steadfast advocate for consumer rights, housing issues, and labor laws, consistently working to improve the lives of her constituents and all New Jersey residents.
