Alixon Collazos-Gill

Alixon Collazos-Gill represents New Jersey’s 27th District in the New Jersey State Assembly. Elected to her first term in November 2023, Alixon was sworn into office as the first Colombian immigrant to represent the district and serve in the New Jersey State Assembly. Alixon serves on the boards of the New Jersey Hispanic Research and Information Center, BlueWave NJ, and is an alumnus of EmergeNJ. Alixon previously served as Director of Latino Outreach for New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy’s historic 2017 campaign, where she helped design and execute the first-time candidate's successful Latino outreach program.
Alixon holds a degree in Sociology and Latin American Literature from Rutgers University and has completed graduate-level course work in International Relations at New York University.
